Style Master

If you are a webmaster, then you surely know that a CSS file is normally used for controlling the font size and type and all the colors displayed inside a website. Having a single file for controlling all the appearance options of an entire site seems like a very good idea. Problems appear when trying to edit the file, as most users open CSS files in Notepad or Wordpad. In this situation, after each modification, you need to launch the website, to be able to preview the changes to its appearance. This task may take a lot of time.

To prevent this time loss, you could just use Style Master, a specialized Windows program which allows you to create and customize CSS files in a very efficient way. When running the software, you will notice that the main interface is split into several parts. The bottom part offers a preview of the actual website, while the upper part of the interface includes the actual source code of the CSS file.

When typing some code into the CSS file, you will notice that each line is numbered. This feature can help you quickly find a certain error or function. In the left side of the interface, you can view a list of statements used throughout the CSS file. After the CSS file has been created, you can view the results in any web browser. Optionally, you can use the debugging feature for validating the style sheet. After previewing the style sheet and making sure that all the statements are correct, you can either save the file locally or on a FTP server. Still, this option requires entering the FTP server address, username and password.
